D. A. Batrowny is in the midst of developing a sequence of books for The Artt of Early Learning Series. Her first book of this series, Welcome Smart Artt, was published in April 2014, which is informative for parents, but kids love it too. The fact that the book is a collaboration of two stories in one makes it all that much more unique. It flows together for both parent and child to enjoy. Children will giggle looking at the pictures of a clever newborn named, Smart Artt, crawling around while hearing a parent's voice read them the words. It's a brilliant way to encourage and reassure your child that they are loved. This book has all the words a parent needs to aid them in taking notice to be aware of normal development in their child’s early stages of life.
According to Ms. Batrowny, reading books to children during infancy and preschool years can help them develop better language skills. Parents will also glean, "gross motor, fine motor, personal-social and verbal development milestones for set age ranges, from The Artt of Early Learning Series." Parents can learn about the growth and development of their child, "parents will learn the importance of it all while having fun."
The books in this series are meant to "educate parents about developmental milestones and her website shares a message regarding "brain development and proper wiring of the neurons, as described in research on infants developing brains."
It is important to know, especially with all the distractions of modern technology that "parents are the child's first and most important teacher." With knowledge of developmental milestones, parents are more likely to detect early signs of delay. "If caught early, some delays still require professional early intervention, but earlier identification can greatly benefit a child. At times, less serious delays may only require the opportunity for the child to practice basic skills."
It's no wonder D. A. Batrowny's first book in the series received the Readers' Favorite Five Stars award; she has an inviting, but profound ability to administer the skills parents need in "building a foundation for their children's future success."
Ms. Batrowny’s philosophy is simple, but effective; "Relax and read a children's book." As simple as that, and for a start, it really does work.
Book two in The Artt of Early Learning Series, A Fish Named Bart has just been released for Kindle and Android devices and will be released for Apple devices soon. Up next are The Lemon Tart, Don't Touch That Dart, and The Broken Cart.
