Keeping Up With Myself

At times as an author I'm rather more busy with outside of writing projects and life situations than having those precious moments to sit down to write. I find it aggravating when a novel idea presents itself and I have no time to devote to making it into a book. I also am prone to jumping ship at the beginning or middle of any of my creations. I've got to stop practicing non-disciplined behavior! It gets me nowhere. For several months I've been working on the following projects, along with attending writer workshops and seminars.
Slow but sure, I'll get there, as I am determined. I also have a great care in the production of these four works-in-progress and am excited as I advance with each. Why? is based on the cases I've been privy to in the line of work in which I'm in and my heart goes out to all those young victims of abuse. With Heirs of Laguna, it's my very first slightly sci-fi fantasy novel and it's quite the undertaking, but I pass that off as a new way of constructing and thinking. From My Window is a novel that I've reconstructed at least 12 times, and finally have considered to make it what it actually is...at present I'm leaving that vague and non-descriptive in case I change my mind. With Beyond the Block, I've been having fun writing a double romance, an author's life as an author, who is writing a romance.
